Do you only visit Halal certified restaurants?

Yes! Because we understand how stressful it can be traveling as a Muslim, we guarantee all of our food is 100% Halal certified. No need to research Muslim-friendly restaurants – we’ve got all your travel needs covered!

Can you cater to dietary requirements?

As your enjoyment of the tour is invaluable to us, we do our very best to accommodate vegetarians and those with food allergies. However, if you don’t eat fish, we are not able to accommodate your needs as we will not be able to provide the full 5 locations that are included in each tour. Please let us know before the tour if you have any special requirements.

Is there time to pray on a tour?

If you are on a private tour, we will make the time to accommodate your prayer needs. Your guide will take you to the nearest mosque or prayer room for your convenience. If you are on a group tour, it is possible to stop but we will need to take the wishes of the entire group into consideration. If this is not possible you can pray at your hotel before and after the tour.

What if I don't want any food on the tour?

We welcome everyone so if you would prefer to opt out of the food portion of the tour, that is not a problem at all. However, we do not offer discounts or refunds.

Do you offer private tours?

Absolutely! Whether you would like take a tour with your private group or customize any of our available tours, we offer private tours. Simply get in touch to craft your ideal Japanese adventure.

I’m a solo traveler, and I want to participate in the tour.

What if we want more food or drinks on tour?

Typically, people are full at the end of every tour. As for the drinks, we provide you with one soft drink and one green tea, but if you want more, please notify your guide. Additional beverages are sold separately.

What should I bring with me?

I am not able to book the tour on the calendar. Is it fully booked?

Yes, this means that the tour is full, but you are still able to book the tour by sending us an email at info@washokuclub.com. We will then send you all the information about how to book the tour.

Do you offer tours in Arabic, Spanish, German or French?

Yes, we can provide you with a food tour in different languages. However, there may be extra fees, so please contact us or email at info@washokuclub.com for more details.

What if it rains?

We don’t let a bit of rain dampen our spirits. If it starts to rain before your tour, please bring an umbrella with you. In the case of extreme weather conditions, such as a typhoon or heavy snow, we will likely cancel the tour for your safety.

We have two kids. One is four years old, and the other is seven years old. What do we have to pay?

Kids that are five years old and under are 100% free of charge. Kids that are between the ages of 6 and 11 are 50% off. However, we only provide children with half of the food on tour.
