The Man Behind Japan Halal Day Tours

As a tour guide, ambassador of Japanese cuisine and storyteller of history, culture, and architecture, Adam is here for all your travel needs. Originally from Egypt, Adam’s love of travel and Japanese culture took him to Japan where he subsequently fell in love with the people, the food, and the culture. Recognizing a need for Halal and Muslim-friendly tours throughout Tokyo, Adam works tirelessly to provide the Muslim community (and beyond) with the best culinary and cultural experiences this city has to offer. Kiseki

Kiseki is a valued member of the team and one of our senior tour guides! When she is not traveling and learning about different cultures around the world, you can find her showing tourists the delicious cuisine of Japan. Her passion for Japan’s food and culture is contagious and you can always ask her about food, the lifestyle in Tokyo, and Japanese culture. She can’t wait to guide you around her hometown, and hopes to see you soon!

Tomomi

After living in the UK for 8 years, Tomomi moved back to her native Tokyo to graduate from university. Tomomi loves being a member of Japan Halal Cultural Tours and loves nothing more than meeting people from all over the world. Her favorite dishes to introduce to guests are sushi and soba noodles. It’s difficult to find a friendlier guide than Tomomi — you will be guaranteed warm hospitality and a big smile!

Takumi

こんにちは!Hello from Takumi! Born and bred in Tokyo, there is no better person than Takumi to show you around the hidden corners of this fascinating city. With many skills under his belt, Takumi can speak Japanese, English, and basic French, and also loves teaching guests key Japanese phrases! He has traveled to several continents and wants to repay the kindness and generosity the locals have shown him on his travels. He looks forward to helping you explore Tokyo!

Ahmad

Ahmad Jahanzeb hails from Pakistan and can speak fluent English, Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi! Hospitality is his passion, and since 2011, he has worked in the travel and tourism industry, specifically MICE & group handling. He loves interacting with people from all over the world and enjoys helping foreign tourists sample traditional Japanese food, as well as quality Halal food. It would be his pleasure to introduce you to Japanese food culture with Japan Halal Cultural Tours!

Suzan

Suzan is originally from Aleppo, Syria, although she spent her childhood in UAE, Dubai. Ever since she was little, it was Suzan’s dream to live in Japan to experience the culture and language. An inherently optimistic person, she believes that dreams can come true if you work hard enough, and she couldn’t be happier to have finally achieved her goal of living in Japan! Suzan’s passions include Japanese food and exploring the wonder of this fantastic city in her spare time.

Carlos

Although originally from Mexico, Carlos has lived in Tokyo since 2011! He loves the city for its many facets — from the time-stopped streets of Asakusa, to the vibrant nightlife of Shibuya. Carlos is passionate about Japanese food in general, but lately his passion has been for tsukemen (dipped noodles), tonkatsu (breaded, deep-fried pork cutlet), sashimi (slices of raw fish), and different kinds of sake! Come discover the largest city on the planet with Carlos!

Hiro

Atsuhiro, or “Hiro”, has lived all over the world, including sunny California for three years and London for four! All of this traveling means Hiro has plenty of experience with different cultures and ways of life. Besides traveling, he loves cooking, eating, and making people laugh! Tokyo is a busy place and Hiro understands that it can be quite tricky to find good places to eat and visit. But don’t worry, Hiro will greet you with traditional Japanese hospitality and give you the best experience in Tokyo!

Yoko

Yoko was born and raised in Saitama prefecture, just outside of Tokyo, and used to hang out in Ikebukuro quite a lot when she was in high school! Now she lives in the southern part of Tokyo and so she is very familiar with the city — Yoko can share some information and tips that only the local Japanese know! She loves interacting with people from different cultural backgrounds and is so excited to see you all and be able to make your trip in Japan even more amazing!

Tania

Tania is originally from Bangladesh but has been living in Japan for 20 years. She came to Japan after getting a Rotary Scholarship and got her Ph.D. from International Christian University. As well as being a teacher, Tania has also been involved in tourism for more than 11 years. She has traveled to more than 130 countries in the world and has written three travelogues! Tania is friendly and outgoing and has several hobbies including traveling, eating, cooking, reading and making new friends.
